This was a total rehabilitation of the Busching Bridge in Ripley County. The scope of work included jacking and supporting each end of the bridge so that lower chord members could be replaced. Also replaced were several of the diagonal bracing components, and all of the steel rods that hold the upper and lower chords together in tension. The floor consists actually of 3 floors on top of the floor beams. The bottom floor runs diagonally, then the second floor runs transverse, or across the bridge, and finally the third floor runs longitudinally, or with the length of the bridge. The bridge also received a new standing seam roof.
